Eckhart von Hahn is lecturer of the Software Engineering Group of Prof. Dr. Barbara Paech since 2007. He received his Diploma in Computer Science from the Technical University of Munich and his PhD in Economics of Software Engineering from the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. He worked as a software developer and project manager at SAP in Walldorf and since 2019 at MHP in Ludwigsburg.
His PhD covered the topic of how to maintain the value of software over time ("Werterhaltung von Software").


At Heidelberg University he is teaching

  • Software Economics (Modul ISWÖK)
  • Software Evolution (Modul ISWEvol)
